Words make it happen. They can move hearts, change minds, shape lives (and yes, sell stuff). But you already know it takes serious know-how to use them well to achieve any of that. Stale, vague, uninspired writing won't do. What do you need words to do for your company?
I have a long track record of producing high-quality writing that is personal, persuasive, and infectiously appealing. My services include writing descriptive copy, websites, social media, press releases, pamphlets, handbooks, articles, speeches, newsletters, ghostwriting (articles, books, speeches), and more.
Over the past twenty years, I have written four published books and another four under a pen name. Mark Massa, SJ, called my book Struggle, Condemnation, Vindication: John Courtney Murray's Journey toward Vatican II "an extraordinarily important book — arguably the most important study of the thought and influence of John Courtney Murray in 40 years." Kathleen Caveny called the same book "a riveting story." My book Faith Meets World: The Gift and Challenge of Catholic Social Teaching was awarded First Place in the General Interest category of the 2014 Excellence in Catholic Publishing Awards (Assoc. of Catholic Publishers). I have also published over one hundred articles in the most highly regarded Catholic periodicals and another hundred or so under a pen name. See, for example, this in America magazine, this in Commonweal, and this in VFW Magazine. I have also ghostwritten articles and speeches for a prominent leader in the US Catholic Church.
As for my copywriting (marketing copy), you'll find examples here, here, here, here, here, and here.
